Vastu Ghee, a ghee, milk, and buttermilk manufacturer, has made headlines by securing Rs 2 crore ($240,247) in a funding round from several investors.

These investors include InsuranceDekho’s Ankit Agrawal, Kunal Kishore of Value 360, Shreedha Singh (T.A.C – The Ayurveda Co.), Ajinkya Firodia ( Kinetic Group), and Rikant Pittie of EaseMyTrip. Part of the angel fundraising show Indian Angels, the funding round valued the startup at around Rs 100 crore.

Led by Mr Bhupat Sukhadiya, Vastu Ghee is a ghee, milk, and buttermilk manufacturer. Owned by Shree Radhe Dairy Farms, the startup has grown from a small team of 12 to having 400 individuals on its rolls.

Renowned for its authenticity and purity, the startup has more than 2000 distributors and 200,000 retailers across the nation. The product line of Shree Radhe Dairy Farms includes Pure Desi Ghee and other dairy offerings.

Commenting on the development, Shreedha Singh, Co-founder of The Ayurveda Co., while highlighting the humble beginning and on-ground domain expertise of the founders of Shree Radhe Dairy Farms, said,

“They started small but worked hard to make 100 crore in revenue with a 3 percent profit margin. Their success shows how dedicated they are to making a great business.”

Highlighting that India, which is the world’s biggest dairy supplier, offers founders ample growth in the industry, Singh added,

“It’s not just about dairy; it’s about having a vision, working hard, and being in a market that wants real and high-quality products. I feel proud to be a part of their journey.”

Recently, Happy Nature, a tech-enabled D2C dairy and breakfast essentials brand, secured $300,000 (Rs 2.5 crore) in a pre-Series A funding round for branding, expansion, developing its technology stack, and processing plant upgrades. These recent investments in dairy brands highlight the consumer preference towards 100% clean label, preservative-free, and organic dairy products.
