SuperCluster Pi, a House of Brands (HoB) startup, has raised $2 million in a seed funding round. Led by Bobby Balachandran of Exterro Inc, the funding round saw participation from marquee angel networks such as Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), Hyderabad Angels, Faad Network and AngelBay.

The funding round also saw participation from renowned social influencers, including Ranveer Allahbadia, Bhuvan Bam, Praful Billore (MBA Chaiwala), and Arvind Arora (A2), among others.

As per the startup, 70% of the raised funds will be used to make acquisitions and the rest to fuel the growth of the brands, expand its team and enhance its brand marketing activities.

Founded by Vishnu Prasath Devarajan in 2021, SuperCluster Pi is a D2C House of Brands in the wellness space and has acquired three D2C brands over the last 6 months.

With expertise in digital marketing and scaling brands, the firm acquires and scales up D2C brands that are consumer-centric, problem-solving and socially conscious. The startup claims to be reaching over 30,000+ consumers every month.

Currently, SuperCluster Pi works with ByNature (Superfood & Breakfast), Auravedic (Ayurvedic skincare) and Fragrance and Beyond (Skin-safe Body Fragrances & Deodorants). The firm also works with five other in-house brands across skincare, haircare, plant protein supplements, sleep, and anxiety.

Over the next 12 months, the house of brands is targeting acquisitions of 6 to 8 D2C brands. It aims for a $20 million annualized gross merchandise value (GMV) run rate.
