Dia Mirza Joins Hands with BabyChakra for Sustainable Babycare Products

BabyChakra, a parenting community and babycare D2C brand BabyChakra, has secured investment from actor and UN Goodwill Ambassador Dia Mirza.

As per the official press release, Mirza will guide the D2C brand in incorporating sustainable and clean care principles into their product ranges. Additionally, collaboration with Mirza will further enhance the startup’s commitment to offering exceptional babycare products and empowering mothers with the knowledge and support they need.

Founded by Naiyya Saggi, BabyChakra, owned by content-to-commerce conglomerate Good Glamm Group, is a platform for pregnancy and childcare that enables parents to plug into a personalized ecosystem where they can connect with other parents and experts and buy relevant services and products.

Speaking about the development, Naiyya Saggi, Group Co-founder of Good Glamm Group and CEO of Good Community, highlighted Mirza’s passion for sustainable and clean care that aligns perfectly with their vision of providing the safest and best possible care for mothers and babies.

Commenting on the development, Dia Mirza highlighted her experience as a new mother and acknowledged BabyChakra for being one of the first communities to recognize the ever-changing needs of mothers and facilitate authentic dialogues amongst mothers, doctors, and experts on the evolving narrative of care for today’s parents.

Mirza added,

As per the startup, in collaboration with Dia, it will create products specifically tailored to meet the evolving needs of mothers. The startup claimed that these products will be manufactured using natural, dermatologically tested, toxin-free, and allergen-free ingredients while adhering to the highest global safety standards.

Earlier in February, A Toddler Thing, a Coimbatore-based baby focussed brand, secured seed funding of $268,689 (around Rs 2.2 crore) led by early-stage investment firm Mumbai Angels, with Lead Angels and Chennai Angels.
