CYFIRMA | External Threat Landscape Management
Founded by Kumar Ritesh, CYFIRMA is an external threat landscape management firm that combines cyber intelligence with attack surface discovery and digital risk protection to deliver the early warning, personalized, contextual, outside-in, and multi-layered insights.
Its cloud-based AI and ML-powered analytics platform provides the hacker’s view with deep insights into the external cyber landscape, helping clients prepare for impending attacks.
Speaking about the development, Kumar Ritesh, founder and chief executive at CYFIRMA, said,
“Adding OurCrowd and L&T Innovation Fund to our capital table is exactly what we need to take our company to the next level. We recognize the critical role that Israel plays in the cybersecurity market in delivering groundbreaking technology, and OurCrowd has been at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation.”
Headquartered in Singapore with offices in India, Japan, the US, and the EU, CYFIRMA serves customers in both government and Fortune 500 companies across financial services, retail, manufacturing, industrial products, natural resources, and pharmaceutical industries.
Commenting on the development, R Shankar Raman, CFO & whole-time Director of L&T, said,
“It is an excellent example of the type of company our fund was built to support. We are now here to accelerate CYFIRMA’s global reach and bring their platform to businesses around the world.”
For the past few years, cyberattacks have been increasing worldwide. And this rising trend in cyberattacks has led to increasing demand for cyber security. In February this year, cybersecurity startup FireCompass raised $7 million (around Rs 57.9 crore) in a funding round co-led by Cervin and Athera Venture Partners (formerly Inventus Capital).
