Blitz Raises $3 Mn In Seed Funding From India Quotient, Others
Blitz (previously Grow Simplee), a same-day delivery platform for omnichannel sellers, has secured $3 million in funding from India Quotient, Better Capital, First Cheque, and Titan Capital.
The funding round also saw participation from other prominent angels like Farid Ahsan, Ishendra Agarwal, Kalpak Chhajed, Abhinav Jain, Rahul Dash, Kunal Shah, Prabhkirandeep Singh, Arjun Vaidya, Gaurav Pushkar, Piyush Kedia, and Anshoo Sharma.
As per the startup, the freshly raised funds will be utilized to enhance technology infrastructure and expand the network of dark stores.

Started by Gaurav Piyush, Yash Sharma, and Mayank Varshney in 2021, Blitz is a same-day delivery platform enabling faster delivery for sellers at efficient costs.
The startup offers same-day delivery for sellers for orders placed before 3 p.m. Using the platform, sellers can predict and store inventory near their customers in Blitz’s dark stores, offer 4-hour delivery to buyers, and fulfil all orders on the same day.
Speaking about the development, Mayank Varshney, Co-founder and CEO of Blitz,

The firm wants to make a dent by thinking differently and, at the same time, help sellers grow their business with simple-to-use products.
With the freshly raised funds, the startup will solidify its position as the go-to solution for the fastest and the most reliable delivery partner at an efficient cost for sellers and brands across India.

As per a report by the RedSeer Strategy Consultants in April this year, the e-commerce logistics market in India saw total shipments reaching 4 billion in FY23. The segment is on track to cross 10 billion shipments by FY28 at a compound annual growth rate of 20 percent.
