Ayurvedic Wellness Startup Dr Mantra Raises Around $200,000 In Funding

Dr Mantra, an ayurvedic wellness startup, has secured around $200,000 in a bridge round funding led by 100X.VC. The funding round also saw participation from prominent angel investors Deep Bajaj and Mohit Bajaj, founders of a FemTech Brand, Sirona. 

As per the startup, the freshly raised funds will be used for business growth, aiming to double its operations before pursuing a series A funding round.

Started in 2021 by Takki Zain and Shivansh Jain, Dr Mantra is an ayurvedic wellness brand providing personalized treatment using the power of ayurveda, diet chart & doctor support.

The startup was established to tackle various health concerns, with particular expertise in addressing kidney Stones. 

Speaking about the development, Takki Zain, Co-founder of Dr Mantra, said,

The ayurvedic wellness startup is on a mission to transform the perception of treating lifestyle diseases effectively, free from side effects. It develops products and solutions to tackle various health concerns, particularly kidney Stones. 

Dr Mantra claims to have tripled its revenues while maintaining positive unit economics at Rs 60 lakh monthly recurring revenue (MRR) last month.

This funding round was led by 100X.VC, which made four investments last month. These startups are Minifeel, a Mumbai-based skincare-focused direct-to-consumer brand; Luzo, a marketplace for salons, spas, and aesthetic clinics; AI startup Vodex; and 50Fin, a fintech startup.
