Sportzcraazy, a sports tech and media platform, has announced the acquisition of the media content platform Kabaddi Adda. With this acquisition deal, Sportzcraazy has acquired majority and controlling stakes in Kabaddi Adda.

The firm claims the acquisition will extend the combined reach of the two platforms to over five million monthly enthusiasts in India.

Additionally, the deal will further build and enhance the kabaddi sports tech business with player performance data, including player performance statistics, player form, and auction-related information.

Kabaddi Adda | All Things Kabaddi 

Founded by Arvind Sivdas and sportscaster Suhail Chandhok along with Dhanya P and Srikanth Viswanathan, Kabaddi Adda is a multi-language media platform providing news and content related to Kabaddi.

Providing in-depth coverage of Kabaddi, the media platform was valued at Rs 13.33 crore and became the first sports company to receive an offer on Shark Tank.

Sportzcraazy | Sports-oriented Platform

Founded by Vaibhav Jaiswal and Aditee Gulati, Sportzcraazy is a sports-oriented platform covering the latest news, and updates, happening from around the globe. Operated by Sportzcraazy Technologies Pvt Ltd, the platform covers major sports like cricket, football, Kabaddi, RMG, Fantasy Gaming, & Esports content, prediction and more.

Speaking about the acquisition, Vaibhav Jaiswal, Founder and CEO of Sportzcraazy, said,

“Having the largest community and with sports tech-focused towards Kabbadi, the second most viewed sport in the country, we see vast opportunity in the sport. Sportzcraazy plans to work with kabbadi players through grass root engagement enabling regional players to showcase their talent.”

The firm focuses on sports media, merchandise and events and is also helping sports content creators monetise & optimising their digital assets. Sportzcraazy is also an active investor in the sports tech ecosystem. 

Now, with this acquisition deal, Sportzcraazy intends to host Kabaddi leagues and large-scale tournaments across the country to build local and regional player opportunities. It also aims to acquire more sports tech platforms going forward.
