AI-driven investment platform Univest has raised $1.5 million in a seed funding round led by the US-based Trinity Media group.

The funding round also saw participation from industry leaders from McKinsey, Tata AIA, Raheja Group, Reliance Industries, OYO, and Envision Learning based in Canada, as well as repeat investors who have expressed confidence in the investment platform.

As per the startup, the raised funds will be utilised to strengthen the financial product distribution business and scale up the right talent.

Launched by Pranit Arora, Avneet Dhamija, and Vikash Agrawal in late 2022, Univest is an AI-driven investment platform that helps users identify profitable opportunities in their portfolios based on their investment style.

Its offering-Univest Elite provides fixed-high return, low-risk investment plans, where users can earn up to 12% returns annually and utilise this information to make wise investment choices.

The AI-driven investment platform assists users in making timely exits from underperforming stocks, provides investment ideas based on their preferred investment style and offers opportunities for investment across various asset classes.

As per the startup, its platform has over 300,000 investors already putting their trust and having portfolios worth at least 700 crores. The platform has one of the strongest retention rates in the wealth management industry.
