Cultos Global, a Dubai-based web3 startup, has made headlines by securing an undisclosed amount in a fresh round of funding.

As per the startup, the freshly raised funds will primarily be used for expanding its product and engineering teams across the UAE and India.

Further, to enhance its platform, the web3 startup plans to introduce several innovative functionalities.

The funding round was led by Tarun Katial (CEO of Coto), Sameer Mehta (Founder & CEO of boAt Lifestyle), and Ashwath Bhat (Finance Head at Fractal Analytics).

Co-founded by Pavan Govindan and Adib Samara, Cultos Global is a web3 rewards platform that enables businesses to bring their customer acquisition, retention, and engagement programs to web3. Enabling brands to launch their own branded tokens, the Dubai-based startup lets them incentivize their target audience to engage in specific actions.

Offering a range of services, including custodial wallets and NFT minting, Cultos Global facilitates liquidity off-ramps for branded tokens through API or e-commerce integrations. As per the web3 startup, it aims to enable a more interactive and rewarding brand-customer relationship.

Speaking about the development, Pavan Govindan, Co-Founder & CEO of Cultos Global, highlighted his excitement to have industry leaders on board.

Govindan added,

“This will give brands access to first-party data, but with advanced security and enhanced privacy for end consumers. With strategic investors to support our vision, we are now even more confident in establishing Cultos Global as the preferred Web3 wallet for some of the biggest brands globally.”

The funding development has come months after Cultos Global partnered with TATA Elxsi to integrate blockchain mechanisms into its TETHER connected vehicle platform (TCVP).
