Amidst 280 Mental Health Startups, LISSUN Makes its Mark with a Notable $1.3M Funding Round

Mental health platform LISSUN has made headlines by raising $1.3 million in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) and Rainmatter Capital (Zerodha Group). 

As per the startup, the freshly raised funds will be used to enhance its technology and product offerings further.

The startup also plans to expand its services and cultivate meaningful partnerships with healthcare institutions and other organizations. Existing investors IvyCap ventures, WFC, Growx ventures, and a few other marquee angel investors., also participated in the funding round.

Founded by Dr. Krishna Veer Singh and Tarun Gupta in 2021, LISSUN is a homegrown mental health platform that provides end-to-end solutions for mental and emotional health.

The Gurugram headquartered startup aims to address the rising challenge of mental illness in society. To do so, LISSUN provides individuals with the proper guidance, therapies, and solutions for their emotional and mental well-being.

Speaking about the development, Dr. Krishna Veer Singh, director and co-founder of LISSUN, said,

As per Singh, the infusion of fresh capital into the startup will help it take a significant step forward in realizing its vision of solving mental health at scale, enabling everyone to access the care and support they rightfully deserve.

Including this funding round, the mental health platform has raised over $2.3 million to date in funding.

Commenting on the development, Vinay Bansal, Founder of Inflection Point Ventures, highlighted LISSUN’s remarkable prowess and strategic acumen in creating scalable mental and emotional healthcare solutions and called them commendable.

India is home to around 280 mental health startups. Only 37 out of these 280 have managed to raise funds till date. And total funds raised by them this year till early August were $1.7 million, as per ET.
