Just Peachy is the brainchild of mompreneur Ankita Wamburkar, mother to an eight-year-old and a NIFT Hyderabad graduate.
It is a bootstrapped online fashion jewellery brand consisting of a small and professional core team from within the family.
Just Peachy started with Rs 2 lakh of personal savings, which the team used to buy a few pieces of jewellery, and all the earnings were rotated back into the business to scale up.
How Just Peachy Started?
Having varied work experience in the retail industry in products ranging from office stationery to garments, Ankita was intrigued by fashion jewellery.
And it was this passion, fueled with the desire to build something on her own, Ankita thought of creating a fashion jewellery brand.
To provide a better product in a hugely competitive industry, Ankita travelled across the sub-continent to understand the market well.
Reminiscing the days, Ankita says,
“While the idea was in place, the biggest challenge was the ‘problem of plenty’. The e-commerce segment has brought in huge competition. To match with the pace, I travelled across the sub-continent to understand the market trends. Right from street markets to big stores, I visited all these places to gauge what women looked for in their jewellery.”
And after understanding the trends and needs, Ankita with her team started Just Peachy in October 2018.
In the first year of launch, the fashion jewellery brand on Myntra achieved Rs 2 crore worth of business. It started by selling 300 pieces per month and reached 6000 pieces per month in just a short time.

This Hyderabad-based online fashion jewellery brand offers a high fashion range of good quality articles ranging from earrings, necklaces, rings, hair accessories, and bracelets.
As per the founder, the collection has a global appeal which is high on trend, creativity, craftsmanship and uniqueness. And though having so much selling propositions, the brand maintains affordable prices within reach for all.
Present Situation Of Just Peachy
The fashion jewellery brand presently has a range of over 1200 products, with around 100 new designs being added every month.
The best part about the brand is that once sold out, they don’t bring the same designs again. The brand claims that it has also achieved higher sell-throughs and lower customer returns, indicating its acceptance by the market.
The fashion jewellery brand presently employs local artisans from cities including Mumbai, Jaipur, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata to manufacture jewellery.
Future Plans Of Just Peachy
With plans to set up its jewellery manufacturing unit, the startup says that it will soon launch other accessories to widen the offerings.
The online fashion jewellery brand also aims to achieve Rs 25 crore revenue by 2025.
