Eternz, a curated vertical marketplace for jewellery, has now secured $1.15 Mn in its pre-seed round, which is led by Kae Capital, with active participation from Gemba Capital, IIMA Ventures, TDV Partners, and Venture Lab. 

As per the startup, funding will now be used to target customers across urban India and partner with international brands to establish their presence. While the focus is majorly online, it plans to launch an offline experience centre so that the consumer gets to touch and feel the jewellery.

Founded by Arthi Ramalingam, Eternz is a curated vertical marketplace for jewellery that curates designs from high-quality national and international brands. The firm provides a unique jewellery buying experience online via the latest innovative technology. 

Eternz is helping brands solve their key major challenge of acquiring customers while providing a dedicated, trustworthy platform. The startup specializes in catering to a wide array of metals, including fashion/costume, silver, gold, and diamond jewellery.

As per the startup, it will continue to collaborate with different brands and designers, enabling discovery and growth in this highly evolving market. 

Speaking about the development, Arthi Ramalingam, Founder and CEO of Eternz, said,

“As a platform, we are solving for trust and discovery that consumers face while purchasing jewellery online. There is a huge trust deficit online and consumers shy away from buying even if they like the designs.”

The funding round was led by Kae Capital, which manages approximately $250 million in capital. It has invested in 85 startups, with a portfolio enterprise valuation of $9.88 billion. Its portfolio includes a mixture of B2B and B2C startups. Some of its notable investments include Nazara Technologies, Porter, Healthkart, Zetwerk, Tata 1mg, Traya, and Square Yards.
