Digital fitness Startup Portl Secured $3 Million Funding

Portl, a Digital fitness and wellness technology startup has secured $3 million in a new funding round led by Bharat Innovation Fund.

This funding round also saw participation from existing investor Kalaari Capital and new investor T-Hub Foundation. 

As per the startup, the funding will be used to ramp up its product development, market expansion, and enhancement of its Artificial Intelligence systems.

Founded by Indraneel Gupta, Vishal Chandapeta and Armaan Kandhari in March 2021, Portl’s flagship offering, the Portl Studio, along with its digital platform, integrates AI to provide personalized fitness and wellness experiences directly in users’ homes, luxury hotels and gyms. 

Portl’s Smart Mirror has a 43-inch 4K screen, embedded bio-sensors, HD cameras, and edge-AI processing with connectivity of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, offering real-time form feedback, health monitoring, and telemedicine integrations as well.

Speaking about the development, Indraneel Gupta, Founder and CEO of Portl, said,

Portl is the latest startup to secure funds after an appearance on Shark Tank India. The startup pitched its product on season 2 of the reality TV show in the year 2023, where it saw commitments from Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar and Aman Gupta.
