Video CX Platform Hippo Video Raises $4.5 Million In Series A Funding
Cloud-based video CX platform Hippo Video has raised $4.5 million in Series A funding round led by Alpha Wave Incubation (AWI), a $300 million venture fund, managed by Falcon Edge Capital, and backed by ADQ, and Exfinity Venture Partners.
Hippo Video’s existing investors, Sequoia Capital India’s Surge and KAE Capital, also participated in this round.
As per the startup, it plans to use the funds to propel the company to expand its GTM teams as well as increase the engineering team.
Started by Karthi Mariappan, Srinivasan Krishnan and Nilamchand Jain, Hippo Video is a video engagement platform for B2B sales teams. The startup helps sales reps to record, send, and track videos easily for prospect engagement and closing deals faster.
