Samosa Party Raises An Undisclosed Amount In Pre-Series A Funding Round

Food startup Samosa Party has raised an undisclosed amount in Pre-Series A funding round from Inflection Point Ventures.

As per the company, it plans to use the funding amount to scale, and open cloud kitchens across Bengaluru and other Tier-I cities.

Samosa Party also plans to use the funds to improve its production technology.

Founded by Amit Nanwani in 2017, Samosa Party offers freshly fried samosa in 14 different varieties.

And with more than 80% repeat customers, Samosa Party claims to have become the go-to snack solution in Bengaluru for personal consumption, and groups and gatherings alike.

Talking about this funding round, Amit Nanwani, Co-founder of Samosa Party, said,

“We have been running a profitable business and this funding round further strengthens my belief that good business models that can stand tall during downturns will have no shortage of funds with credible investors like IPV backing us.”

Shedding light on the Indian snack market, the startup said 65% of the Indian snack market is unorganized and has a market value of around Rs 42 lakh crore.
