Petcare startup Vetic has raised $3.7 million in a seed funding round led by Lachy Groom.

Renowned angel investors, including Nitin Saluja (Founder Chaayos), Utsav Somani (Partner, AngelList India), Ritesh Agarwal (CEO, OYO), Abhinav Sinha (COO OYO), Shiva Singh Sangwan (Founder of 1947 Rise), Abhishek Gupta (CFO OYO) and Manu Gupta (Founder, Blue Lion VC), amongst others, also participated in the funding round.

As per the startup, the freshly raised capital will be used towards further bolstering technology, establishing state-of-the-art medical infrastructure, and geographical expansion of Vetic’s clinic network across Delhi NCR and Bangalore regions.

Started by Gaurav Ajmera (Ex-COO OYO and Ex-CBO Pristyn Care) in August 2022, Vetic is a tech-enabled chain of modern clinics focusing on overall pet health care.

Elevating the clinic experience for pets and humans alike, the startup brings together an outstanding pool of veterinarians to promote collaborative, multidisciplinary investigation of diagnosing and treating your fur buddies and preventing diseases.

Speaking about the development, Gaurav Ajmera, Founder of Vetic, said,

The startup aims to provide pets with best-in-class medical care and convenience to pet parents for all other pet care needs like nutrition, wellness etc.

Equipped with modern medical infrastructure, its clinics offer cutting-edge innovations like Diagnostics, X-Ray, etc., and comprehensive integrated super specialty and grooming facilities, all under one roof.

Commenting on the development, Lachy Groom said,

Presently, Vetic has 4 clinics in Gurgaon and plans to scale to 15 clinics across Delhi NCR and Bangalore regions by June 2023. The startup recently launched an Android and IOS mobile App, enabling seamless appointment booking and pet health record keeping, the first of its kind in pet health care.
