RoundGlass, a personal wellbeing platform, has acquired fitness discovery platform Gympik Health Solutions for an undisclosed amount.

As part of the deal, RoundGlass will get access to Gympik’s gym and club management software platform, Traqade.

Speaking on the development, Shiraj Chakraborty, head of people and culture for India at RoundGlass, said,

Started by Amaresh Ojha and Karan Malik, Gympik is a leading software provider for the Indian fitness industry. It provides an all-in-one club management platform with intuitive & easy-to-use features like member management, integrated payment processing, innovative workout tracking, advanced business insights & reports, marketing & social media automation etc.

Gympik has more than 20,000 fitness centres,7000 trainers & more than half a million unique visitors on the website each month. Its club management software platform, Traqade, is currently used by more than 1,000 fitness brands in India.

Coming back to the acquisition part, the deal will help integrate Gympik’s extensive network of fitness centres across India with RoundGlass’s ecosystem of personal wellbeing solutions.

In 2016, RoundGlass had made its first strategic investment in Gympik through its investment arm, RoundGlass Partners.
