SingleInterface, a Gurugram-based marketing software startup, has made headlines by raising $30 million in its first external funding from investors led by Asia Partners. PayPal Ventures also participated in the funding round.

As per the startup, the freshly raised capital will be used to develop its product. Further, the raised funds will enable the startup to expand across markets of Southeast Asia and in newer markets such as Japan and Australia.

Founded and incubated in 2015 by Tarun Sobhani and Harish Bahl, SingleInterface is a hyperlocal marketing & commerce platform that helps its clients across sectors with digital marketing, customer engagement, and e-commerce-related offerings. Its suite of products simplifies discovery, boosts engagement, handles feedback, and ensures omnichannel experiences.

Part of the Smile Group, the startup enables firms to optimize the entire online-to-offline customer journey for better customer experience, higher footfalls, and a seamless shopping experience – online or in-store.

Speaking about the development, Tarun Sobhani, Co-founder and CEO of SingleInterface, highlighted that SingleInterface, with its suite of products, has proven to deliver remarkable revenue growth for its clients, accounting in some cases for 15-20% of their revenues.

Sobhani added,

“We are on a mission to empower our customers to drive further growth, enhance the customer experience, and provide rich business insights and context across their different locations, enabling them to grow and win locally.”

“SingleInterface has shown an exceptional track record of fostering customer engagement and commerce for large enterprises over the last several years and has firmly established itself as a prominent player in the region, successfully integrating offline and online customer journeys to drive growth for physical retail locations.”

Helping businesses increase revenue with insights for each business location, the Gurgaon-based marketing software startup currently caters to a clientele of over 400 multi-location brands across various industries. The software-as-service platform is used by several renowned enterprises, including Apollo Tyres, HDFC Bank, KFC, Pizza Hut, Nissan, TVS Motors, and group companies Reliance, Tata, Aditya Birla, and Bajaj.

In the coming quarters, SingleInterface aims to generate around 65% of its revenue from India and 35% from Southeast Asia. The hyperlocal marketing & commerce platform also plans to double its headcount to around 470 over the next four months or so.
