Several Indian startups have raised funds across various categories from Oct 14 to Oct 18, accounting tax management, teacher workforce management, AI and more. We will highlight five such transactions, including how these startups plan to use the raised capital.

Febi.ai has raised $2 million in a pre-Series A funding round co-led by Lumis Partners, Virender Rana, Lenskart co-founder Amit Chaudhary, Padmaja Ruparel, Cashkaro co-founder Rohan Bhargava, Rajat Jain, and other investors.

As per the startup, the funding will be utilized to further advance its artificial intelligence capabilities to automate accounting and tax compliance processes, ramp up customer acquisition, and expand its workforce

Co-founded in 2022 by Amit Jindal, Saurabh Jain, Ashu Goel, and Rahul Bansal, Febi.ai leverages AI technology to eliminate the hassles of manual data entry and errors in accounting and invoice verification. The platform automates documentation management and tax compliance while providing founders and entrepreneurs with real-time business insights to make informed decisions with greater confidence.

Startup Funding

Suraasa, a platform for teacher workforce development and global teacher mobility, has raised $6 million in a new round led by Reach Capital, with participation from ETS Capital, NB Ventures, TSM ventures, TRTL Ventures and other strategic investors.  

As per the startup, the funding will be used to ramp up Suraasa’s mission to enhance teacher quality, equip educators with global-standard skills, and facilitate their integration into diverse educational systems worldwide. 

Founded by Rishabh Khanna, Suraasa offers competency-based skilling programs that ensure educators are not only classroom-ready but globally competitive. Its programs equip teachers with the skills required to succeed in international classrooms, addressing the increasing demand for qualified educators worldwide. 

Budy.bot has raised $4.2 million (about Rs 35.29 crore) in a funding round led by early-stage investor RTP Global.

As per the startup, the funding will be used to ramp up the training and development of the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) skills.

Founded by Samay Kohli, Budy is an AI-driven agent designed to simplify the deployment and management of sales and marketing software stacks for enterprises. The startup claims to be purpose-driven, concentrating on achieving end outcomes and tangible business results.

Lifechart, a gut wellness brand, has successfully raised $500,000 in a seed funding round. Prajay Advisors LLP contributed $250,000, while the remaining amount came from Agility Ventures, Expert Dojo, and a group of angel investors, including Ahana Gautam, Nitish Mittersain, Sarath Sura, and Marwari Angels, through convertible instruments.

As per the startup, the funding will enhance Lifechart’s AI capabilities, launch proprietary diagnostic solutions, and develop a brand focused on tier 1 cities.

Co-founded in 2022 by Mukul Shah and Mansi Sharma, Lifechart aims to tackle the increasing gut health issues in India by offering AI-driven predictive technology and products created by BAMS and BHMS doctors.

No-code app builder Tablesprint has raised $1 million in a seed round co-led by angel investors and syndicates, including Ankit Bhati, Ajeet Khurana, Sunil Sharma, BlueLotus Ventures, TDV Partners, DGC Ventures, and Abhijeet Bhandari.

As per the startup, the funding will be used to enhance its offerings, strengthen its team, and drive product development, furthering its mission to empower enterprises with no-code solutions.

Co-founded in 2024 by Abhijeet Kumar and Chirag Jadhav, Tablesprint offers an AI-first SaaS platform that enables companies to build intuitive apps and playbooks across various business verticals.
