Several Indian startups have raised funds across various categories from Nov 11 to Nov 14, Drone technology startup, Legaltech startup, Casual gaming studio and more. We will highlight five such transactions, including how these startups plan to use the raised capital.
Airbound | Drone technology startup
Airbound has raised $1.7 million in a seed round led by Lightspeed, with additional participation from gradCapital and other angel investors.
As per the startup, the funding will be used towards R&D efforts, initially focusing on medical deliveries, such as routine supply transportation from health centers to testing labs.
Founded in 2020 by Naman Pushp, Airbound is a drone delivery company focused on building next-generation drones that can reduce last-mile delivery costs by over two orders of magnitude. The company claims to overcome key technological bottlenecks, condensing 30 kg of hardware into 1 kg, which improves safety, scalability, and operational costs. Its proprietary blended wing body tailsitter design, known as TRT, aims to transform logistics.
LegalKart | Legaltech startup
LegalKart, a legal consultation platform, raised Rs 6.5 crore in its latest funding round from IIM Udaipur Incubation Centre. Aevitas Capital, Shift Alt Cap, and others have also participated.
As per the startup, the funding will be used to infused to ramp up company’s growth and drive the development of its AI-enabled legal technology solutions.
Founded in 2019 by Arvind Singhatiya, LegalKart provides legal services with AI-driven documentation, consultations, and tailored digital solutions.
Funstop Games | Casual gaming studio
Funstop Games has raised $5 million in a Series A funding round led by 360 ONE Asset along with participation from InfoEdge Ventures where InfoEdge Ventures doubling down on its investment from a previous round.
As per the startup, the funding will be used to accelerate game development efforts, build ad-tech capabilities, expand its portfolio of games, increase its presence in the casual gaming sector, and create new titles.
Co-founded in 2020 by Prashanth Vijay and Tamesh Sharma, Funstop Games develops and publishes a variety of mobile games that offer in-app purchases, allowing users to buy virtual goods and other game-related content.
Connecty AI | Enterprise AI solutions platform
Connecty AI has raised $1.8 million in its pre-seed round led by Market One Capital.
As per the startup, the funding will be used to expand its context engine’s capabilities across additional data sources and offer it as a service via API.
Founded by Aish Agarwal and Peter Wisniewski, the platform connects to data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery in less than five minutes with no-code deployment.
Ugaoo | Urban gardening firm
Ugaoo has raised Rs 47 crore ($5.6 million) in its Series A funding round led by V3 Ventures, with participation from existing investors DSG Consumer Partners and RPG Ventures.
As per the startup, funding will be used to expand Ugaoo’s regional presence across the top 10 Indian cities and establish 80 retail stores by FY30.
Founded in 2015 by Siddhant Bhalinge, Ugaoo operates a 25-acre farm in Talegaon, on the outskirts of Pune, where greenhouses and horticulture specialists are used to cultivate all of its plants in-house.
