Indian Short Video Platform ‘Mitron’ Raises Rs 2 Crore In Seed Funding
Mitron has raised Rs 2 crore in seed funding from 3One4 Capital and Lets Venture.
This development comes just two days after the Indian government banned 59 Chinese mobile applications.
For those who are completely unaware of the Mitron App, Mitron is an Indian short-form video app like TikTok, founded by Shivank Agarwal and Anish Khandelwal.
Launched just two months ago, Mitron has more than 100 million downloads and has a user rating of 4.4 out of 5 on Google Play Store.
Banking on PM Modi’s push to ‘Made In India’ and ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’, many Indian short-form video apps are now available, giving tough competition to Mitron.
These apps include Chingari and ZEE5’s recently launched short video platform HiPi.
