Chingari Partners With Fan Engagement App TrueFan
Indian Startup News

Chingari, a homegrown short video platform, has partnered with fan engagement app TrueFan. The partnership will help movie fans connect with their favourite celebrities and receive personalised video messages and calls.

Started by Sumit Ghosh, Biswatma Nayak, and Deepak Salvi, Chingari is a short video app where you can create interesting videos and share them with the world.

Speaking about the partnership, Deepak Salvi, Co-founder and COO of Chingari app, said,

“Both Chingari and TrueFan believe in being platforms of the people, by the people and for the creators. We have committed ourselves to creating projects that matter to both of us and our users and are also quite fun for them.”

As per Nimish Goel (co-founder TrueFan), the collaboration between these companies will see a contest called #TrueFanChingari roll out this month. Contest participants need to showcase their skills on the Chingari app to the tune of a fan anthem to be created by TrueFan.

Nimish added that the contest winners will receive a video message from Kareena Kapoor.

With the ban on TikTok, Indian short-video platforms like Chingari, Moj, MX Taka Tak and Mitron, are getting increased traction, helping small-town users of these apps with opportunities and greater recognition.
