Healthtech Startup Traya Raises Seed Funding Led By Kae Capital, Whiteboard Capital
Traya.health, a Mumbai-based healthtech startup, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding led by Kae Capital and Whiteboard Capital.
The funding round also saw participation from Angels Puneet Kumar from Steadview Capital and Suhail Sameer from BharatPe.
As per the startup, it will use the funds for research and development, expanding the product range, detailed clinical trials and creating a strong, and comprehensive adherence programme using cutting edge technology.
Founded by Saloni Anand and Altaf Saiyed, Traya offers a perfect blend of Ayurveda with Allopathy to help people hair loss problem.
The startup’s treatment plans vary for each type of hair loss, depending on the stage, age, gender and other factors.
And as per the startup, of the 25,000 people who shared their health data, including headshots, in the last three months with Traya, 90% are in the age bracket of 25-35 years.
Talking about how the startup works, Saloni said,
“We are not a product company selling yet another shampoo. We work with our customers closely to get their hair health sorted for long-term effective results.”
Traya claims that it has observed a 50% growth month-on-month since March.
