Healthtech Startup Even Set To Raise $5 Million Funding

Even Healthcare, a Bengaluru-based healthtech startup, is in late-stage talks with Khosla Ventures and other investors to raise its maiden funding round, with a likely valuation of around $20 million.

First reported by Entrackr, citing sources, the Bengaluru-based healthtech startup is in the advanced stage to raise $5 million in a seed round. The sources added that the funding round would also see the participation of around a dozen angel investors.

“Even is in advanced stage to raise a $5 million seed round led by Khosla Ventures. The two firms have been in talks for several months, and Khosla has already served a term sheet,” said one of the sources requesting anonymity.

Started by Mayank Banerjee, Matilde Giglio and Alessandro Lalongo, Even partners with the best hospitals in India to give members unlimited access to consultations, diagnostics and tertiary care.

The startup claims to be building India’s most advanced health cover with an advantage over medical insurance as it provides unlimited OPD consultations and diagnostics (X-rays, blood tests).  As per the startup (published on their website), its partners include the top hospital chains and labs in India, including Healthians, Medicover, and Narayana Health.
