Edtech Startup WhiteHat Jr Is All Set To Foray Into Brazil and Mexico

WhiteHat Jr, an online coding school for young kids, is all set to foray into non-English speaking countries like Brazil and Mexico as part of a worldwide expansion.

The startup will launch math classes, and hire one lakh women teachers in the next three years.

As per the startup, it is refocussing on core philosophy and growth as it puts behind unpleasant events.

Talking about the company, Karan Bajaj, WhiteHat Jr Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), said about two-year-old online education platform has seen tremendous success in India, New Zealand, the US, the UK, and Australia.

Karan Bajaj said that around 1.5 lakh paid students are taking some 40,000 classes every day from 11,000 teachers on WhiteHat Jr.

He added that the startup is launching math classes next month.
Using a one-on-one teaching model, WhiteHat Jr will go on to create “1,00,000 teaching jobs, all for women, in India in the next three years.”

Talking about expansion, Karan Bajaj said, “We will take coding all across the world, launch new categories, like math and sciences and build around creation.”

The company claims that it has grown 60% month-on-month during the lockdown and post that it is growing 100%, with an annualised revenue of USD 150 million.
