Early-stage venture firm Better Capital has invested undisclosed sum as part of a pre-seed round of funding in Foodtech startup Voosh Technologies.

The funding round also saw participation from several executives from food-technology and other sectors including Hitesh Ahuja (Yumlane founder); Swiggy executives Anuj Rathi, Ashish Chatterjee, and Sundeep Teki; FreightTiger chief business officer Vivek Sekar and Bounce founder Vivekananda Hallekere.

Founded by Priyam Saraswat and Kshitiz Sanghi in 2020, Voosh claims to be transforming the USD 100Bn+ unorganised and standalone foodservice industry by bringing in operational efficiency, technology penetration and food standardization.

The food-tech startup says its model solves operational and compliance problems by bringing a data-driven approach to aspects such as menus, pricing, and tracking customer satisfaction.

Talking about the Voosh, Better Capital’s Vaibhav Domkundwar said,

“With a strong food delivery network in place, Voosh is innovating with a unique decentralised kitchen partner model to bring high quality and affordable food brands to customers while enabling independent restaurant owners with a profitable business model.”
