Cricketer Yuvraj Singh Backed Healthcare Startup ‘Wellversed’ Acquires ‘Sportfit’
Backed by cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Delhi-based healthcare and nutrition startup Wellversed has acquired fitness coaching company Sportfit, for an undisclosed amount.
With this acquisition deal, the healthcare and nutrition startup aims to scale and strengthen its health transformation programme by incorporating Sportfit’s proprietary coaching methodology and technology for diet and fitness coaching.
Also, Aaris Kalra (Founder of Sportfit) will now lead the sales of health transformations at Wellversed.
Wellversed also aims to extend its programmes to athletic transformations as well.
Founded by Aanan Khurma, Aditya Seth, and Ripunjay Chachan in 2018, Wellversed is backed by investors such as Yuvraj Singh’s YWC Venture Capital, Shankar Narayanan, Alok Mittal, KLUB Works, Govind Rajan among others.
Wellversed enables the production of customised clinical food products. The products are specific to the health requirements of demography or an individual.

Already having a strong presence in metropolitan and tier-1 cities, Wellversed aims at expanding across rapidly growing tier-2 cities as well as entering new international markets shortly.
