CareStack, a Thiruvanthapuram-based dental care startup, has raised $22.5 million in funding.

The funding round saw participation from SteadView Capital, Delta Dental of California, Accel Partners, Eight Roads and F-Prime Capital.

As per the startup, it plans to use the funding to expand its operations and for talent acquisition.

CareStack is a complete cloud-based dental software solution for scheduling, clinical, billing, patient engagement, and reporting needs of dental offices of any size – whether it’s a single location or a large multi-site DSO. With in-built features for centralization, automation, and analytics, CareStack enables dental organizations to achieve the full potential inherent in scale.

Speaking about the dental platform, Abhilash Krishna, CEO and Co-founder of CareStack, said,

“We are relentlessly innovating through frequent software upgrades, a growing list of third-party integrations, and advanced workflow automation capabilities. Our vision is to lead the digital transformation of the dental industry and enable offices to operate at its highest potential. ”

As per the startup, it doubled its revenue in 2020, and its global workforce was at 370 employees. The dental care startup now aims to double its workforce and grow the annual revenue by four times.
