Bengaluru-Based Healthtech Startup ‘Indegene’ Raises $200M From Carlyle Group, Brighton Park
Indegene, a healthtech firm, has raised $200 million from US-based investment firms Carlyle Group and Brighton Park.
As per the sources, the two investment firms have picked up minority stakes in Indegene. Also, the investment was made through a primary and secondary sale to buy out existing investors.
Started by Rajesh Nair, Anand Kiran, Gaurav Kapoor, Sanjay Parikh, and Manish Gupta, Indegene is a Bengaluru-based healthtech startup that enables global healthcare organizations to address complex challenges to improve health and business outcomes.
The healthtech firm claims to be working with 75 of the world’s largest pharma companies.
Talking about the funding round, Manish Gupta, Co-founder and CEO, Indegene, said,
“The two investors have expertise in healthcare and technology. They are ideal partners to support our company’s continued growth.”
The startup said it uses machine learning to enable data-driven customer experiences, omnichannel campaign effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
Also, Indegene has more than 3,000 employees globally, and the majority of its business comes from the US, followed by Europe and China.
