Alternative Credit Platform ‘BlackSoil’ Invests Rs 4Cr In Work Fulfilment Platform ‘Awign’

Alternative credit platform BlackSoil has made a Rs 4 crore venture debt funding into Awign Enterprises Private Limited.

As per the startup, it will use the funds for working capital requirements and business expansion.

Founded by Annanya Sarthak, Gurpreet Singh, and Praveen Sah in 2016, Awign is a Bengaluru-based work fulfilment platform.

Talking about the funding, Annanya Sarthak, Co-founder of Awign, said,

“The funds received will help us to scale-up faster and will be used for working capital requirements and business expansion. We are hoping for many years of a fruitful relationship with Blacksoil and looking to grow with investors who have put their belief behind our business model.”

The startup works with enterprises to take up intricate work across the service lines of auditing, diligence, assessments, proctoring, last-mile delivery, new business development, and digital gigs.

The Bengaluru-based startup has over 100 clients that include Swiggy, ITC, Britannia, and Aditya Birla Capital, Bigbasket, among others.
