Leanworx, a Bengaluru-based startup empowering manufacturing plants with real-time data, has raised Rs 8.3 crore (approximately $1 million) in its seed funding round.
As per the startup, the funding will be directed towards scaling marketing and lead generation efforts in India and Southeast Asia and advancing product development, including hardware and software certification.
Co-founded in 2017 by D. Srihari, Bhagavan S. K., and Dasarathi G. V., Leanworx provides a cutting-edge, AI-powered machine monitoring system that delivers real-time, actionable data from shop-floor machines to decision-makers, allowing for faster and more accurate decision-making.
Univest | Retail advisory platform
Univest has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII).
As per the startup, the fresh funds will be deployed towards accelerating its aim to democratize access to high-quality research and providing a full-stack brokerage offering.
Co-founded in 2022 by Pranit Arora, Avneet Dhamija, and Vikash Agarwal, Univest is a retail advisory platform, offering general recommendations through its SEBI-registered RA entity, Uniresearch. It provides expert trading advice across stocks, derivatives, and commodities. The platform aspires to become India’s most trusted, research-first stock market super app, solving all retail investor challenges from selecting the right picks to timely exits on a single platform.
Mindgrove | Fabless Semiconductor Design Startup
Mindgrove Technologies, a fabless semiconductor design startup, has raised $8 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Rocketship.vc and Speciale Invest.
As per the startup, the funding will be utilized to expand its workforce, enhance its in-house engineering capabilities, and accelerate production and sales of the first chip.
Co-founded in 2021 by Sharan Jagathrakshakan and T.R. Shashwath, Mindgrove is incubated by IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation and IIT Madras Incubation Cell. The company designs high-performance SoCs with advanced features at competitive prices for the Indian and global markets.
SustVest | Sustainable investment platform
SustVest has raised $1.7 million in its pre-Series A round in mix of equity and debt led by Inflection Point Ventures and Antler along with participation from WEH ventures, Venture Catalysts, Soonicorn Ventures, FAAD Network, and others.
As per the startup, the funding will be used for key business growth initiatives, including acquiring solar projects, scaling marketing with the regulated platform launch, strengthening operations, and covering legal expenses.
Founded by Hardik Bhatia and Devansh Shah, SustVest specializes in sustainable investments in renewable energy. The platform claims to have achieved over Rs 43 crore in Assets Under Management (AUM) with 9.3 MW of solar installations, distributed over Rs 5.7 crore in energy income and saved over 94 lakh kg of carbon emissions.
