Investmint, a signal-based trading and investing startup, has raised $2 million in seed funding led by Nexus Venture Partners. The funding round also saw participation from other angel investors.

As per the startup, it will use the raised funds to expand its product, engineering, and quantitative research teams to build a retail investing product.

Founded by Aakash Goel (previously with Headout and Instamojo) and Mohit Chitlangia (previously with Jupiter Money and CommonFloor) in February 2022, Investmint enables scientific and systematic investing for retail investors.

The startup aims to make stock markets simple and actionable for everyday investors by offering easy trading and investing products backed by data and a science-driven investment approach.

Speaking about the development, Aakash Goel, Co-founder & CEO of Investmint, said,

As per the startup, its trading and investing app, which is currently in open Beta with early adopters, is expected to be launched within the next few weeks.

Investmint’s app currently has multiple quantitative models for investing in stocks for long-term baskets and models to trade on a weekly or daily basis, all managed by SEBI-registered Research Analysts. The app also includes models to trade in the futures & options segment for advanced traders.
