Walmart and Flipkart Group Make Additional Investment In Ninjacart

Walmart and the Flipkart Group have made a fresh round of investment into agritech startup Ninjacart.

This investment is in continuation of Ninjacart’s earlier funding done in December 2019.

As per the startup, it plans to use the capital to expand to new markets and build new offerings and supply chains for emerging customer segments. Ninjacart also plans to continue to innovate on the supply chain to make it more efficient, reliable, and profitable.

Founded in 2015 by Thirukumaran Nagarajan, Vasudevan Chinnathambi, Ashutosh Vikram, Kartheeswaran KK, and Sharath Babu Loganathan, Ninjacart is revolutionizing the fresh produce supply chain.

The startup claims to be India’s largest tech-driven supply chain platform that connects farmers of fresh vegetables and fruits with kiranas and businesses.

Talking about this fresh investment in the startup, Ninjacart CEO & Co-founder Thirukumaran Nagarajan said,
