Sports tech firm MyySports has raised $2 million from Mathew Cyriac, Founder of Florintree Advisors, an alternate asset management company.

Mathew, who is an existing board member at MyySports, now joins as a Co-Founder.

MyySports | Gamifying The Phygital Experience Of Sports

Founded by Saurav Banerjee, a former venture partner at Kalaari Capital, in 2021, MyySports is a Delhi-based sports tech startup gamifying the phygital experience of sports. The startup, through its app, provides simple creator tools allowing millions of sports lovers to create, socialise and monetise their content.

Speaking about the development, Saurav Banerjee, Founder of MyySports, said,

MyySports promises to democratize sports globally by gamifying the phygital experience using innovative creator tools for mass engagement. Its app is sports and geography agnostic. The startup has recently acquired a gaming company, MyyHashstash.

Additionally, the alternate asset management firm has exited fintech firm CASHe, Pharmeasy and WealthDesk, which was sold to fintech giant PhonePe.

It has also invested in fantasy gaming startup Fantasy Akhada, Plaeup Pvt. Ltd.
