Founded by husband-wife duo Chetan Walunj and Aditi Bhosale Walunj, Repos Energy is transforming the energy distribution system in India by bridging the gap between the supply and demand of current fuels.

The Pune-based startup offers mobile energy distribution safely using technologically-advanced Special Purpose Vehicles.

Speaking about the development, Chetan Walunj, founder and CEO of Repos, said,

“We are proud to launch our customised Mobile Electric charging solution, which uses old recycled batteries to promote Green EV. It is designed as a fast-charging network available any day, anytime, anywhere in the city. The charging solution would form the infrastructure backbone for a growing EV ecosystem and easily provide customers with energy-efficient options. Our smart charging solution balances individual, corporate and community usage.”

The Pune-based startup proposes to create an ecosystem that facilitates the delivery of all forms of energy at the doorstep of end consumers with the help of technology. As per the startup, more than five crore litres of fuel have been already distributed through the Repos platform, resulting in a total saving of 14.85 million kg of carbon emissions.

Its new ‘Green Mobile Electric charging vehicle’ accumulates power generated through waste into recycled second-life batteries, which are then distributed through mobile electric charging vehicles.

In May 2022, Repos Energy raised Rs 56 crore ($7.2 million) from Ratan Tata, chairman Emeritus and other investors to build its product line, team building, and expand into different geographies in the country.
