Pune-Based Edtech Startup ‘Pariksha’ Raises Fresh Funds
Pariksha, a Pune-based Edtech startup, has raised a new financing round led by Bharat Inclusive Technology Fund.
First reported by Entrackr, the latest round appears to be a Series A round, and it is the second investment for Pariksha in 2020 after an undisclosed round led by INSEAD Angels in April.
The funding round also saw participation from Lets Venture, 9Unicorns, Innercircle One Consulting and Nikhil Vora.
Started in 2015 by Karanvir Singh, Vikram Shekhawat, Utkarsh Bagri, and Deepak Choudhary, Pariksha claims to be India’s largest vernacular test prep App.
The edtech startup helps aspirants from Bharat prepare for any state government job exam in the language of their choice, through videos and live streaming classes in the most affordable, convenient, and enriching manner.
Available in six languages including Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, and English, Pariksha has recorded a 2.2X jump in revenue which grew to Rs 1.3 crore during the fiscal ended in March 2020.
