Online Teaching Platform ‘Teachmint’ Raises $3.5 Million In Seed Funding

Live online teaching platform Teachmint has raised $3.5 million seed funding led by Lightspeed India.

The funding round also saw participation from existing investors, Better Capital and Titan Capital.

As per the startup, it plans to use the funding amount to build its product suite, introduce additional offerings, and increase geographic reach to more tutors.

Founded in May 2020 by Mihir Gupta, Payoj Jain, Divyansh Bordia, and Anshuman Kumar, Teachmint is a one-stop solution combining live classes, student engagement and admin tools.
The platform helps tutors to conduct unlimited live classes and manage their classrooms.

Talking about this funding round, Mihir Gupta, Co-founder and CEO at Teachmint, said,

Our mission is to enable millions of outstanding tutors in India to take their classes online by leveraging Teachmint as their tech backbone. Teachmint focuses on regional customisation and is available in 10 languages other than English. As per the startup, it has uniform users across the country, with the user base stretching from Srinagar to Port Blair.
