To promote entrepreneurship among students, Niti Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), in collaboration with Dell Technologies, has launched the second edition of its student entrepreneurship programme (SEP 2.0) for young innovators of Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs).

As per a statement from Niti Aayog, this student entrepreneurship programme (SEP 2.0) will allow student innovators to work closely with Dell volunteers.

The first Student Entrepreneurship Programme (SEP 1.0) was launched in January 2019.

From this entrepreneurship programme, the participating young innovators will receive mentor support, prototyping, testing support, manufacturing support, and end-user feedback.

They will also get intellectual property registration and patenting of ideas, processes, and products, as well as the launch support of the product in the market.

Talking about this collaboration, Dell Technologies India President and Managing Director, Alok Ohrie, said,

“Our strong partnership with NITI Aayog has further enabled us in expanding our vision of technology for social good and encouraging budding entrepreneurs.”

Talking about the launch of SEP 2.0, NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Rajiv Kumar said,

“As we conclude SEP 1.0 and launch SEP 2.0, I am excited to see the impact these innovations will create in the country.”
