DSG Consumer Partners has invested an undisclosed amount in a pre-Series A funding round in Axys Nutrition Products Pvt. Ltd., a Nutraceutical company that develops and markets nutrition and nutraceutical products under the brand name Nutrova.

As per the startup, it plans to use the funds for clinical studies, product innovation, and to scale up the business.

Founded by Akshay Pai in 2013, Nutrova is a Mumbai-based nutritional supplement brand that contains clinically validated nutrients that enable individuals to take charge of their beauty, health and fitness.

Talking about the funding round, Akshay Pai said,

“Our fundamental belief at Nutrova is that the right nutrition if properly delivered, can enable everyone to take charge of their health. We’re excited to partner with DSG on this journey to develop the best products possible and to make them easily accessible as well. The resources from this funding will enable us to continue our research-driven product development as well as to scale our team and presence.”
