Marketing automation startup Xeno has raised $1.6 million in a seed round from global funds, including Vinyl Capital, Vibe Capital, Java Capital and Angel Invest Ventures.

The funding round also saw participation from Curefoods founder Ankit Nagori, Varun Alagh (Mamaearth founder), Kunal Shah (Founder of CRED), Loginext founder Dhruvil Sanghvi, Profitwheel founder Vivek Bhargava, Fynd founder Farooq Adam, Tracxn founder Abhishek Goyal and several other founders/operators.

As per the startup, the raised funds will be utilised to expand its workforce across engineering, product, marketing, sales, and customer success. Xeno plans to hire for multiple roles and plans to double its team size in 2022.

Founded by Pranav Ahuja and Ayushmaan Kapoor, Xeno is a marketing automation startup that helps B2C brands run 1 to 1 marketing campaigns at scale to their existing customers. As per the startup, it helps brands increase campaign conversions by more than 150% while reducing the marketing manager’s workload by 95%.

Speaking about the development, Ayushmaan Kapoor, Co-Founder and COO, Xeno, said,

As per Pranav Ahuja, Xeno is on a mission to enable over 100,000 brands to build experiences and marketing specific to an individual customer. He added that the startup is poised to achieve accelerated growth this year owing to the superiority of the platform and their team’s unmatched capabilities.

With clients including Jack & Jones, Forever New, Vero Moda, Lotto, Kaya, Heads Up For Tails, Chumbak, Amante, Taco Bell, among others, the startup claims to have seen a 7X increase in the number of brands onboarded over the last one year.
