Logistics solutions provider Ecom Express plans to hire over 7,000 employees.

Not only that, but the company also said it has chalked out plans to hire around 35K people till the beginning of this year’s festive season.

As per the company, it will hire people across metro cities like Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, as well as cities like Surat, Kanpur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Indore, Lucknow, Bhopal and Jaipur.

The hiring will be done for the processes like last-mile delivery, warehousing management, operations, information technology and data sciences.

The hiring of manpower is due to the increasing preference for doorstep deliveries.

Sharing views on the hiring of new employees, Saurabh Deep Singla, senior VP & CHRO, Ecom Express said,
