With the rise in the number of positive cases of coronavirus and 3 confirmed deaths, people from the Indian startup ecosystem have come up with their suggestions to fight against COVID-19.
Many startup founders and investors suggested that the government should impose strict lockdowns and Section 144 for a couple of weeks.
These startup community people include founders of Bounce, 1mg, MapMyIndia, Urban Company, Homelane, Cred, BlackBuck, MyGate, etc.
The startup community people also suggested that to prevent panic among the public, the government should keep the public informed.
The action plan to fight against COVID-19 as per the startup community people is:
March 20-April 12: Section 144 across all major affected areas, businesses should work from home and stores, schools etc all should be shut down. Public transport should run on a limited need basis.
April 13-May 17: Liftoff Section 144, Social distancing, businesses should work from home. Only the needed stores should open up and schools/colleges etc to open up.
May 18-May 31: Second round of Section 144 to check that there is no increase after initial restrictions.
June onwards: Make things normal but monitor the situation and do the third lockdown if needed.
