Hero Electric, India’s largest electric two-wheeler company, has tied up with e-mobility startup eBikeGO to supply over 1,000 bikes to transform last-mile deliveries.

The company said the e-mobility startup would procure these Hero Electric bikes through the next financial year with the first batch of 120 already delivered to the startup.

Also, through the partnership, the companies will further transform the last mile deliveries from petrol to electric with their expertise in EV technology, and the internet of things (IoT) enabled operations.

Talking about this partnership, Naveen Munjal, MD, Hero Electric, said,

“With this partnership, we look forward to leveraging the reach eBikeGO brings to further transform the space and bring more electric vehicles on road.”

Started by Irfan Khan and Hari Kiran, eBikeGo is a smart electric mobility platform offering an electronic mode of transportation that runs for around 100 km after an electronic charge for about 3 hrs and makes the daily movement zippy with a speed of 55 km/ hr.

Began with 640 users, the startup is now providing mobility solutions in eight cities to more than 18,000 users.

Hero Electric will also provide service support to eBikeGO through its over 600 pan-India dealer network, as part of the tie-up.

Also, as per the release, eBikeGO will be provided with a dedicated relationship manager for maximum uptime.
