Fantasy Akhada, an online gaming startup, has raised an undisclosed amount from renowned Indian cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle.

As per Fantasy Akhada, Harsha Bhogle will also be the face of the startup for the next two years.

This Gurugram-based startup was founded by Amit Purohit in January 2020. The company caters to a wide range of sports fans with various gaming options. Fantasy Akhada also claims to be one of India’s fastest growing Fantasy Sports Platform.

Talking about this funding round, Amit Purohit, Founder of Fantasy Akhada, said,

“When we decided to look for a brand icon for Fantasy Akhada, we aimed at having someone who has an immensely powerful brand image in the minds of the Indian cricket fans.
