Google and Lightstone have invested in Dunzo, a hyperlocal logistics startup.

And in this latest Series E funding round led by Google and Lightstone, Dunzo has raised $28 million.

As per regulatory filings, Google LLC and Lightstone have already infused $15.65 million, while the remaining amount would come from five existing investors.

Founded by Kabeer Biswas, Mukund Jha, Ankur Agarwal, and Dalvir Suri, Dunzo is a Bengaluru-based all-in-one 24X7 delivery platform. The startup picks and delivers anything and everything within the city while guaranteeing super-quick deliveries.

And, to help local retailers fulfil customer orders quickly, Dunzo is also experimenting with dark stores, and it runs 10 such stores in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Pune.
