Funding News: Women’s Healthcare Startup Zealthy Raises Seed Funding
Women’s healthcare startup Zealthy has raised an undisclosed seed funding.
The funding round was led by KYT Ventures, AngelList, First Cheque, and a few well-known angel investors.
Founded by Akhil Gupta and Rishi Malhotra in 2019, Zealthy is a Bengaluru-based women’s healthcare startup.
Zealthy is working with a vision to understand and share women health issues in their local languages.
The startup connects its users to healthcare providers for specialities like maternity, infertility, and other women-centric health issues, at reasonable rates.
As per the startup, the funding will be used to further develop its product and technology.
Planning to add more Indian languages onto its platform, Zealthy is also looking to expand in Tier-II and Tier- III cities in India.
Talking about the startup and its future, Anu Gupta, Co-founder of KYT Ventures said,
“Being a doctor and a woman, I could see how Zealthy’s women centricity, Tier II and III focus and vernacular strategy have the potential to lead the next phase of digital health in India.”
