Funding News: Startup QTalk Raises $1.6 Million In Seed Funding

Bengaluru-based Startup, QTalk, has raised $1.6 Million in seed funding from venture capital firms Accel India and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

Founded by Advaith Vishwanath and Sagar Modi in 2018, QTalk allows its users to do things such as browse the web, watch videos and even play games while on a phone call.

It also has a feature that helps users to add the reason why they are calling. So, depending on the reason and urgency, the receiver can choose to answer the call or not.

As per the company, the funding amount will be used to improve its technology stack.

Currently working with 20 employees, the company also plans to hire more people to work on its platform which is in the early development stages.

The app is available on the Google Play Store and an iOS version of the application is about to roll out soon.

This funding will provide a boost to the startup, as QTalk was bootstrapping from early 2018 to the end of 2019,
