Food Tech Startup ‘SmartQ’ To Launch ‘Slot Based Booking System’ For Indian Cafeterias

Food-tech startup SmartQ is all set to launch a slot-based booking system called ‘Smart Pass’ to decongest cafeterias across Indian organisations.

SmartQ said it will launch the “slot-based booking system” in June, as companies are about to begin operations with easing of COVID-19 lockdown.

Using ‘Smart Pass’, the user can book the desired slot and also pre-order the food.

Founded by Krishna Wage and Abhishek Ashok in 2014, SmartQ is a Bengaluru-based food-tech startup that provides cafeteria management services.

Talking about Smart Pass, Krishna Wage (SmartQ Co-founder and CEO) said, 

“We are all set to launch ‘Smart Pass’ in India from June onwards and globally across seven countries including New Zealand, USA, Germany and a few other European Countries.”

Krishna Wage also said SmartQ is initially starting the ‘Smart Pass’ technology in the Indian cafeterias of leading MNCs including Goldman Sachs, Boeing, Compass Group, Airtel, Siemens, Razorpay among others.
