CometChat, a Denver and Mumbai-based CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) company, has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by Signal Peak Ventures (SPV).

The oversubscribed round also saw participation from existing investors, including Matchstick Ventures, Range Ventures, Unbound VC, among others.

CometChat, in a media statement, said the funding would further enable growth acceleration along with platform enhancements. The CPaaS company has plans to invest in expanding its global market share by investing in employee growth, accelerating Go-to-Market strategies, scaling platform infrastructure and platform features.

Founded by siblings Anuj and Anant Garg in 2010, CometChat has built a communications platform for enterprises that provides them with plug n play text, chat, video and voice communications solutions to be integrated into their websites and apps. 

Speaking on the development, Anuj Garg, Co-founder CEO of CometChat, said,
