Community Management Startup Threado Raises $3.1 Million Funding

Prominent angel investors, including Deepinder Goyal (founder & CEO of Zomato), Pankaj Chaddah (Co-founder of Mindhouse and Zomato), Krish Subramanian, and Rajaraman Santhanam, Co-founders of Chargebee, and others also invested in the startup.
The startup plans to use the funds to strengthen its team, double down on the product and accelerate traction in the North American market.

Founded by Pramod Rao, a former senior executive at Zomato, and Abhishek Nalin in 2020, Threado helps businesses grow through the power of community. The startup provides a dashboard for businesses and creators to manage their online communities on Slack, Discord, Discourse, Twitter, or GitHub.
Speaking on the development, Pramod Rao, Co-founder of Threado, said,
“In a world where products are commoditised, building a community is a core differentiator. But building and scaling a community is hard. Our goal is to make it super easy for businesses to engage with their customers and grow through the power of community.”
The Bangalore-based community management startup claims to be used by 200+ communities such as Glide Apps, StartUp Grind, Ultrahuman, On Deck, Appsmith, Rocketlane, Scaler Academy, and FamPay, among others. It plans to increase its customer base to 3,000 community-led companies over the next 12 months.
